Dental Discount for full dentures.
Two years ago I got full dentures done.  At that time I had dental insurance but I did not see a reason to keep it. Now I need new dentures since I no longer have the ones from two year ago. My X boyfriend took them when I was sleep and broke them up saying he paid for them so since he was leaving I did not need them anymore.
I could just cry now because I am left with no teeth and have little money in getting new dentures. It is true that he did pay for my dentures but I had the insurance at the time to make the affordable and he had no right doing what he did to me. Please any advise on what I can do now.

I feel really bad for you about what your X boyfriend he was out of line and I think you should make him pay for the new dentures.
I know easier said then done. You may find that getting new dentures to be covered under dental insurance hard. Many dental insurance plan have long term waiting periods and even after the waiting periods they still may not cover for new dentures do to pre-existing clause.
It would be important that you call or completely read though the plans terms and conditions to confirm if they will cover for new dentures.
Some dental insurance plans will state you need to have had your current dentures for five or more years before being able to get new ones and have coverage for them.

I agree that your X needs to pay for the new dentures. How you go about doing that I do not know. He sounds like a jerk and maybe it best just to be rid of him.
As the one reply stated getting insurance now may be hard and if you do find something that will accept you and pay for new dentures you may have to put up with long waiting periods.
I suggest looking at dental discount plans. Many discount plans list the cost for complete dentures. See if that is something you can afford.

If you are still finding denture cost out of your price range. Then look into any dental schools or dental clinics and see if you have any luck with them. Hopefully something will work out for you.
